
The ains ATM service is a Cell-switching and multiplexing technology that combines the benefits of circuit switching (constant transmission delay and guaranteed capacity) with those of packet switching (flexibility and efficiency for intermittent traffic).
Comprising of one access point at each customer site and at least one permanent virtual circuit (“PVC”), linking your various access points to the ains network.
Each PVC supports bandwidths of 2Mbps and above and can have varying class of services (CBR, VBR-rt, VBR-nrt and UBR) and is ideal for managing voice, data and video services.
