His characters are believable and well defined, and the story is innovative and captivating. Especially the supernatural aspects of the novel, which give the book a completely chilling atmosphere.
The multiple layers and story threads will keep the reader guessing literally from page one and, in some instances, may leave you baffled for a few days after finishing the novel. But all the answers are there, if the reader searches for them and makes the connection.
Piccirilli fans will love Hexes. Readers new to Piccirilli should seek out this book and read it - you won't be disappointed.
